Furball Privacy Policy
Short version: you can play Furball without an account. The game keeps your progress on your own device. If you play online, other players see your pilot name, aircraft, livery and chat. If you choose to create an account on furballgame.com, we store your email address so you can sign in, plus your profile, friends list and campaign progress. We do not sell your data.
Who we are
Furball is an independent browser game published at furballgame.com and on game portals such as CrazyGames. Contact: adarjkb@gmail.com.
What is stored on your device
- Your progress (research, aircraft mastery, liveries, campaign), settings, pilot name and tutorial state are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device until you clear your browser data.
- On furballgame.com the game may also download its own files for offline play (a service worker cache). This holds game files only, not personal data.
Online play
- When you join an online room, our multiplayer server receives your pilot name, aircraft, livery, flight data and any chat messages you send, and passes them to the other players in that room in real time.
- Chat messages are filtered and relayed live; we do not keep a chat history. Room data is held in memory only while the room is open.
- Like any web server, our hosting provider (Railway) processes your IP address and basic connection logs to deliver the game and keep the service running.
- Please do not put personal information in your pilot name, tail code or chat. Names, tail codes and chat are filtered for offensive content.
Optional account on furballgame.com
Accounts are optional and only exist on furballgame.com (not inside portal versions of the game). If you sign in:
- We store your email address to send you one-time sign-in codes. Sign-in is provided by our database host, Supabase.
- We store your pilot profile (pilot name and friend code), your friends list and friend requests, and your campaign progress so it can follow you between devices.
- While you are signed in, friends can see whether you are online so they can join your room.
Advertising on furballgame.com
furballgame.com shows ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, which may include personalised ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
Playing on CrazyGames or another portal
When you play Furball on a game portal, the portal runs the page, its ads and its own account system under its own privacy policy. Inside the CrazyGames version, Furball uses your CrazyGames username as your pilot name and saves your progress through the CrazyGames SDK; Furball has no separate account or sign-in there. Online play works as described above.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not ask for your real name, location, phone number or payment details. Furball has no in-game purchases.
- We do not use your data to build advertising profiles ourselves.
Children
Furball is designed for players aged 12 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- You can play as a guest with no account at all.
- You can clear your local progress at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account data (email, profile, friends and campaign progress) by emailing adarjkb@gmail.com from the address on the account. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights under local law; contact us to use them.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. Online room data disappears when the room closes. Hosting logs are kept by our providers for their standard periods.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
